Our Story began when Colonel H.M Cook, a Civil War veteran, opened a general mercantile store in Leon County Texas. One hundred and forty-one years later, and seven generations the exact same institution remains intact. Coincidence? I think not. It takes a strong foundation to crusade through: a Civil War, the Spanish American War, Two World Wars, and The Great Depression.
Cochran, Blair and Potts operates of the foundation of faith. We strongly believe that our success has not to do with our own merit, but because of the Lords good will and common grace.
