Temple is one of the major cities in Bell County. It was founded as a railroad town and became a junction for three major railways: the Gulf, Colorado, and Sante Fe. With the diverse economy of the city led to its steady growth. Agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, and medicine were the major industries. As Temple began to progress, it has become one of the leading medical centers in the Southwest. Today, their population has grown to over 1000 residents and continues to grow
